Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Framebit Studios (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use MainsCheck (the “Service”), an AI tool that evaluates UPSC Mains practice answers.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email address, provided through Google sign-in.
- Your submissions: the answers you submit and any images you upload for evaluation, along with the resulting scores and feedback.
- Usage data: information about how you interact with the Service, such as evaluations run, credits used, and basic device and analytics data.
- Payment metadata: records of purchases and order references. We do not collect or store your card numbers; payment details are handled by our payment processor.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and operate the Service, including evaluating your answers and returning feedback; to maintain your account and credit balance; to process payments; to improve and secure the Service; and to communicate with you about your account and support requests.
3. Third parties & sub-processors
We rely on trusted third-party providers for database and authentication, AI-based answer evaluation, payment processing, application hosting, and analytics and observability. Your answer text and any handwriting images you upload are sent to a third-party AI provider for evaluation. Each provider processes only the data needed for its function.
4. Data retention
We retain your account information, submissions, and evaluation history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We retain payment and usage records as required for legal, accounting, and security purposes. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@mainscheck.com. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies & local storage
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. These are necessary for the Service to function. Analytics providers may also set identifiers to help us understand usage.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 where a higher age applies). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
